“Influence activates your subconscious complexes, which take over your moods and perceptions. Instead of reacting to the reality of what you see, you react automatically to the subconscious process set off by what you see”
The subconscious mind’s worst enemy is conscious awareness. However the stronger of the two is your subconscious mind and for a couple of reasons.
One, it remembers everything, each slight variation of your experienced life and it has habitualized itself in patterns through your reactions in life. Nature, nurture, environment, and so forth.
Two, it has embedded a conditioned state of your brains mechanism and thus taken over control of your reactive states which cannot be solved on the same level that they were created because the complexities of any functioning brain are just unable to be resolved.
The understanding that you can change yourself leaves a sour taste in anyone’s mouth. We think we can change but we really can’t.
We can only unfold new perspectives and undersandings.
Stephen Covey says that the space between impulse and response is conscious awareness.
We can’t control what is buried within us, but we can surely observe it when the reaction comes by then responding to it based on the understanding that we are unfolding a new perspective in real time.
There is no right or wrong when it comes to our subconscious beliefs but there is that understanding it is what it is.
Sometimes when we see ourselves in a frustrating position we must accept and allow it to surface, the notion is that the subconsciuos mind is letting us know that we are reacting because of those variables that have created you and who you are.
Subconscious beliefs are meant to be understood rather then known, the delicate patterns of any subconscious mind is way to vast and varied to take grasp of it in contemplation, it surfaces at it’s time.
For example, you might not like something at that moment when you feel it, you know that the subconscious mind is saying..”you believe it” can you change it by being conscious of it?
No. but what you can do is unfold a new perspective of understanding that it was at that moment that you realized it. It will then create a new pattern and that pattern will unfold a new perspective and that perspective will be shown to you in various “real world” experiences.
I can’t change a thing about myself, i can’t change my experience of the past, nor do i want to. I want like anybody else to be able to say that I have learned and grown from the moment of being conscious of that belief and to say that I finally acknowledge it on a conscious level and then let it go.
What happens is that the pattern, the habit is gone, it has taken on a new course and a new dimension of life. Something you thought you knew becomes new.
That new will delight you and you will continue to unfold new perspectives and experiences that no longer will be affected by a reactive state of the subconscious mind.
Life is a flow, thus we can’t change the flow, we can only unfold it by flowing with it. No resistance. Just acceptance and allowance of life itself.
By saying, i can’t change, you say I am unfolding perfectly. The notion that you are always learning and growing will then show you that unfolding is a perfect process. You can’t judge it, rather accept it for what it is and watch how the grip hold will let you go.
New neurons will be created in the brain. That will create new illusions that you will be attentive to. Thus unfolding a new dimension.
One place where you will see it is in people you are surrounded with. If you see yourself react to someone you don’t like, be conscious of it understand that it’s your subconscious mind that made a pattern of belief around it and now you say, i am aware of it, and then watch a new perspective come from it.
By choosing to do so, you then don’t change the situation, you unfold a new perspective of the situation. Allowing you to grow from that moment of realization and onwards to new perspectives.

Today I read this “Flow like water, Don’t fight every battle. Don’t run into every wall. Grow calm through eliminating resistance.” Now after reading this blog I realize that I am being told something. “It is what it is”. Let my response unfold, not react. Wonderful again Spiro! Well done.
Interesting, I`ll quote it on my site later.
